Privacy Policy

Welcome to PixelArc ("PixelArc"). PixelArc provides users access to a variety of games and related services (the "Service").

This section explains how PixelArc and its affiliates collect, use, share, and protect user data related to the Service.

PixelArc collects and uses data in compliance with applicable regulations within the U.S., the E.U., or other relevant jurisdictions.

This policy applies to all visitors, users, and others using the Service.

PixelArc monitors, tracks, and records users' overall behavior on the site and within games to identify issues and improve their offerings.

Data We Collect
With consent, PixelArc collects the following types of data:

1.1 Data Collected on a General Basis
1.1.1 Smart Devices
We use third-party analytics tools to help assess traffic and usage patterns for the Service. These tools collect data from your device or our Service, including the pages you visit, add-ons, and other information to improve the Service. We collect and use this analytical data alongside data from other users in a manner that cannot identify a specific user.

1.1.2 Browser Caches
PixelArc uses browser storage such as cookies and local storage to enhance the user experience. An example of stored data could be games played within the browser or recorded scores. This data is stored on the user’s device and does not identify a specific user. We may allow advertisers or other partners to serve ads or services to your devices using cookies or similar technologies from either third parties or us.

1.2 Data Collected with User Consent
By consenting, the user agrees to the collection and processing of data with the following implications. The consent remains valid for three years unless the user withdraws their consent earlier. Withdrawing consent also results in the deletion of the user's account.

1.2.1 Smart Devices
By consenting, the user extends the data described in section 1.1.1 to advanced analytics tools for personalized PixelArc content recommendations. These content suggestions may appear through web and advertising services.

1.2.2 Data Provided by the User
By registering, creating a user account, and using PixelArc, the user provides or may provide the following information:

  • Login credentials (email, password, or third-party login info such as Facebook, Google+, VK).
  • Full name and username.
  • Country of residence and preferred language.
  • User-generated content, including profile pictures, comments, reports, and gaming content.
  • Age of the user to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).
  • Interaction data between the user and PixelArc.
  • Devices used by the user and the last accessed IP address, which helps secure user accounts against unauthorized logins.
  • Content preferences based on user behavior and activity on the site and within games.

1.2.3 Device Identifiers
A device identifier may provide information to an external partner or us about how you browse and use the Service and help us or others deliver reports or personalized content and advertisements. Some Service features may not work properly if the use or availability of device identifiers is disabled or restricted.

1.3 Data Collected During Communications Between a Visitor and PixelArc
Communications through contact forms, bug reports, email, phone, mail, or other offline methods are stored for a period necessary for execution (maximum of three weeks unless otherwise required by law). When using the bug report form, the user automatically sends their browser and software version. This data helps us identify potential issues more quickly and accurately.

How We Use Your Data
In addition to the legitimate reasons for data usage described in this Privacy Policy, we may use the data we collect to:

  • Remember your login details so you don’t have to re-enter them during your current or future visits to the Service.
  • Analyze or resolve technical issues.
  • Provide personalized content and information to you and others, including online ads or other forms of advertising.
  • Develop and test new products and features.
  • Monitor metrics such as total visitors, traffic, and demographic trends.

Sharing Your Data
We do not rent or sell your data to third parties outside of PixelArc (the operator and owner of PixelArc) (or the group of companies to which PixelArc also belongs) without your consent, as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Parties With Whom We May Share Your Data
We may share your data from tools like cookies, log files, device identifiers, and location data with third-party companies that help us provide the Service to you ("Service Providers"). Our Service Providers will have access to your data only as necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms.

We may also share certain data, such as cookie information, with third-party advertising partners.

We may remove portions of data that can identify you and share anonymized data with other parties. We may combine your data with additional information so that it is not linked to you or the entity that collected the data.

Data Retention and Processing
Data provided to PixelArc is stored in an encrypted format.

To keep the data collected through the Service secure, we will take appropriate measures for necessary business purposes. Before granting access to your account, we will find suitable methods to verify your identity (for example, requiring a unique password).

PixelArc, its Affiliates, or Service Providers may transfer data we collect about you, including personal information, across borders and from your country or region to other countries or jurisdictions worldwide. Please note that we may transfer data, including personal information, to a country or region that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.

How Long Do We Retain Your User Content
After your account’s termination or deactivation, PixelArc, its Affiliates, or its Service Providers may retain data (including your profile information) and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archiving, and auditing purposes.

Children's Privacy
PixelArc does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under 13 or knowingly allow such individuals to register for the Service. The Service and its content are not directed at children under 13. If you believe we may have collected any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.

Third-Party Sites and Services
We are not responsible for the practices used by any sites or services linked to or from our Service, including the data or content contained within them. If you use a link from our Service to a specific site or Service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites or services.

Our apologies for the disruption. Continuing from the last known point of reference: Our sites or services may allow you to share information with online gaming sites or use online gaming sites to create or link your virtual gaming account. These online gaming sites may automatically give us access to the personal information they hold about you (for example, any content you have seen). You should be able to manage your privacy settings from your own third-party online gaming account(s) to control what personal information you allow us to access from that account.
